Latest Toshiba Portege R500

One of the most exciting notebooks or laptop to come along in the last few months has been Toshiba’s R500. The new Toshiba laptop Portege R500 with 12.1 inch widescreen features is new Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 (Merom) platform, and is the first ultra portable laptop to incorporate an optical drive into a system that is less than one inch thick and weighs less than 2.5 pounds.

The laptop Portege R500 has incredibly thin and light, it manages to squeeze a 12.1 inch widescreen display into a package even lighter than Sony's 11-inch VAIO TZ150. Though Toshiba does not have a reputation for making ultraportables, like Sony or Panasonic, they have been putting some serious effort into their R series.

Toshiba have launched four laptops or lappies I like to call them with the new Gemstone styling, the exterior has a dark glossy finish with bevelled mirror edges and pearl grey finish on the inside. The four new laptops are called the Acer Aspire 5720, 5920, 7720 and the highest spec one is the 9920. The Acer Aspire 9920 will feature HD DVD drive, digital TV tuner, Dolby Home Theatre Virtual Surround-approved, camera and a whopping 20 inch display.

The N512 Laptop

The laptop market is heating up and it seems like every one wants a portion of the action. New Classmate PC Laptop From Intel

Panasonic Toughbooks Laptops

Panasonic has released the all new Panasonic Toughbooks (laptops) that are as tough as Ford’s Trucks. Nevertheless, the most interesting fact about this “Tough” laptops are they actually has passed the Military Specifcations drop-test. GX600-08 Laptop

I have always been frustrated when my laptop battery dies out on me especially when I am nowhere near an AC and just got an idea for a new blog. Most of the times ideas or work comes to you at the most ridiculous times and you need to get to them fast.

Acer Ferrari 1100 Notebook Reviewed

PCMag has reviewed Acer’s Ferrari 1100 notebook PC. Acer Ferrari 1100 is powered by a mobile AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core 2.3GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, 250GB hard drive and ATI Radeon X1270 graphic card. It comes with a 12.1-inch LCD and supports WiFi 802.11n.

Gateway C-142XL Convertible Notebook PC

Toshiba Satellite X205 Gaming Notebook Series

The newest Toshiba laptop is devoted for the community of play. Haier G70 Transformers Laptop in Pink

Pink notebooks are nothing new but a pink notebook with a Transformers theme are definitely new. At the Korean electronics expo Haier showcased the G70 a high performance lappy in pink and with the Autobots sign etched on the display. You can call the G70 a gaming laptop as it sports a high res 17 inch WXGA LCD with a 1.3 Megapixel camera and crunching the polygons is a Nvidia GeForce Go 7950 GTX GPU with 256MB DDR III memory. Powering the notebook is the latest Intel Merom processor running on Intel 965PM + ICH8M with upto 4 Gigs of RAM. Other features include SATA hard drive, DVD Super drive, fingerprint reader and Bluetooth.

Packard Bell launches quad-core gaming laptop
